Structural Steel Erection Estimator (Junior-Mid Level)
Location: Houston Area Industry: Structural Steel Erection

Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Structural Steel Erection Estimator to support the preparation of bids and proposals for steel erection projects. This role will assist in reviewing drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, and developing cost estimates for labor, equipment, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

Review structural drawings and project specifications

Perform quantity takeoffs for structural steel erection scope

Assist with labor, equipment, and crane cost estimates

Support bid preparation and proposal development

Coordinate with project managers and field teams for pricing input

Track bid results and maintain estimating databases

Required Qualifications

1-5 years of experience in construction estimating (steel preferred)

Basic understanding of structural steel erection and field operations

Ability to read and interpret structural drawings

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with steel erection or heavy construction projects

Familiarity with Bluebeam, Excel, or similar takeoff/estimating tools
